But one day he will look back at the stress of 6 three hour finals and laugh. Right?
RIGHT?
Right. Me, I have just been trying to spread Christmas cheer and keep my husband sane. So we spent our Sunday evening making cookies and watching a Gingerbread Throwdown on the Food Network.
And the night ended with a duet from Dwight and Angela.
Is there a better way to prepare for law finals?

Good luck on your finals! We haven't quite gotten to the laughing stage at my house just yet...just to the grateful it's all over stage. But that's a good place too.
Yes, we are going to UT from Dec. 18-Jan 3rd. Cam and Tia are leaving to LA on Dec. 21st and I believe are staying until after the Bowl game. If so, we won't see them at all DARNIT!!! Also, I'm feeling better from the blog ailments, but now have 'other' sinus infection/bad cold. ARGH-happy holidays to you and good luck with the first finals!! :) What are your Christmas plans? UT or LA.....were you able to find a job?

I don't know about your hubby, but Dwangela's rendition of "Little Drummer Boy" (also the first dance at Angela & Andy's wedding) brings me TONS of Christmas Cheer!
Ewwwww...this week still gives me the heeby geebies.....it's so weird casey always got sick over finals week too.....it must be the stress....I always got sick the week after......lewt me know if the same happens to you.
that is to bad he got sick!! i can't believe it. that is the worst!!! best wishes getting all better for the rest of the stress :)

Oh man I am not jealous of you right now! The only thing worse than studying for finals yourself is to have your spouse do it. Good luck Tay! And what a good wife you are making it all "cheery" for him.
So i'm a little late but hope Taylor's finals go (went) well!! That first semester is rough because they have no idea what to expect!!! It gets a lot easier the second year!! At least it was for Pete because he figured out tricks for studying for the finals.
The Rockettes did bring back some Fillie memories. Good times!

Doesn't being an adult suck. Remember when you were a kid...if you got sick...Mom made you a nice comfy place on the couch (my mamma bird always called it making me a "nest")...Mom would run get popsicles and Sprite to help you feel better...you could sleep all day with no responsibilities and stay in pj's till they stunk so bad your mom peeled them off of you to wash.
Hope they went well and now you can enjoy a little time off together.
